It's great being able to dive with the family

The minimum age for diving has reduced over the last few years, and now stands at ten for PADI and twelve for BSAC for Open Water Training. However, within the PADI structure children can gain their first underwater experience as young as eight years old with the Seal Team. So come on kids, get yourselves wet!

Seal Team

The Seal Team is an extensive program set over 15 training sessions, and is aimed at preparing children for the Junior Open Water Course when they get to ten years old.  Starting at a minimum age of eight years old, the training comprises 5 Seal Team “missions” which cover the basics of Scuba diving. Once completed the student can progress onto the Master Seal Team, where there is an introduction to some of the specialities that an adult will cover.

An excellent crewpak specifically aimed at the age group is provided, along with a video and other training materials that aid the young diver in their underwater exploration.
